Mary Bouchard, a native of the Thousand Islands area of New York State, has a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Alfred University, and an Master’s of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the University of Chicago.

After completing her graduate degree, she worked in the treasury department of the largest hospital system in Chicago before moving back to New York State.  Her professional experience since then has encompassed financial, accounting  and administrative positions in hospitals, medical practices, non-profit organizations, and tax practices.  In addition, she served as a small business advisor for an economic development organization in the Finger Lakes region, training entrepreneurs in business plan development, and assisting them with the preparation of financial forecasts and statements.  She has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Ithaca College and Elmira College.

She was employed for six years as a financial/information systems auditor for Cornell University.  In 1999 she became a Certified Information Systems Auditor, and in 2000 received her certification as a Public Accountant from the state of New York.

For the past ten years, she has done tax and accounting work for individuals and business clients.  References are available upon request.

Mary is a member of the Trumansburg Area Chamber of Commerce, is treasurer of the Rotary Club of Trumansburg,  and serves on the Board of Directors of the Trumansburg Conservatory of Fine Arts, the Ulysses Philomathic Library, where she is also treasurer, and the Trumansburg Area Chamber of Commerce.  She is also a certified bicycle safety instructor with the League of American Bicyclists, and a fitness instructor at Juniper Manor, senior residence apartments, in Trumansburg.
